Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Elrod will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Liberty Mortuary.
Angela Wooten Elrod, 60, of 110 Bryson Drive, died Wednesday at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was the wife of Steve Edward Elrod and a daughter of Melva Garrett Wooten Perry of Liberty and the late Walter Edward “Bud” Wooten. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing as well as taking care of others, especially her mother. She was a member of Norris First Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a sister and brother in law, Regina and Daniel Moore of Central and a nephew, Ben Moore of Central.
The family will be at the home of her mother, Melva Perry: 630 Winding Creek Road Liberty, SC 29657. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements. www.libertymortuary.com
